Mysore, Sri Pejawar seer’s visit to the Dalit colony during his 72nd Chathurmasa Vrita has led to harmonious development and has received a lot of positive response across the social spectrum. Besides creating a lot of debate in the mass media, Karnataka is all set to witness a new phenomenon.
Sri Madaara Chennaiah Swamiji, a religious leader of Dalit communities, began his samarasya sadbhavana nadige (march for harmony and good will) from the 6th Cross, Railway Gate in Krishnamurthypuram here at 8 am today.
Swamiji was accorded a Poorna Kumbha welcome by District in-Charge Minister S. Suresh Kumar, CM’s Parliamentary Secretary and MLA S.A. Ramdas, MLCs G. Madhusudan and C.H. Vijayashankar, several RSS leaders and others.
Madara Chennaiah Swamiji, who arrived in city from Chitradurga last evening, called on Pejawar Seer Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji at Sri Krishnadhama in Saraswathipuram early this morning and sought his blessings for the samarasya sadbhavana nadige.
Madara Seer was accorded a warm poorna kumbha welcome with the accompaniment of mangalavadya. The two religious heads exchanged phala thamboola and held a brief talk about the nadige (padayatra).
